With over 30 years of combined experience in hospitality sales across multiple brands, including IHG, Marriot, Hilton, and Choice, the Sparrow Team has built a strong foundation in hospitality sales and marketing.

Mike Baker


Mike Baker is a dynamic hospitality professional with over 15 years of experience in the industry. He started his career in housekeeping and worked his way through all aspects of select service, from cleaning rooms, to being General Manager.


He has worked with numerous brands, including Hilton, Marriott, Choice, Wyndham, and IHG properties, and he has extensive experience with transient and extended stay hotels in different markets.


Over the years, Mike’s leadership skills and knack for customer service led him to sharpen his focus on sales. He has devoted several years to learning from and training with the top sales leaders in the industry.


Mike has spent the last few years in executive roles with management companies, specializing in new hotel openings and ramp up. Mike has a true understanding of top and bottom line revenue priority.


Mike’s passion for training and motivating teams to achieve and exceed overall revenue goals led him to create Sparrow Hospitality Services. Mike has built a team with a strong focus in sales, strategy, and execution. His team has knowledge in operations, customer acquisition, and customer service.

Sumita Singh-Baker

Chief Operating Officer

Sumita Singh-Baker is Sparrow Hospitality’s Chief Operating Officer.


Her background in Psychology and her experiences as a business owner and a healthcare professional allow her to bring a unique and fresh perspective to the company.


In addition to overseeing the daily operations at Sparrow Headquarters, Sumita’s main priority is to build and maintain a positive, cohesive, and skilled team of hotel sales professionals.

Aaron Schaffino

Vice President of Sales

Aaron Schaffino is a seasoned veteran in the hospitality industry. His career encompasses 15 years of hotel experience, affording him with a vast knowledge within multi-brand select service hotel management.

Aaron’s high energy, stealth focus on client relationships, market analytics and achieving financial results are but just a few of the noteworthy professional attributes he possesses in his expansive career.


As the VP of Sales, he is responsible for monitoring the performance of all sales efforts of the team, conducting data analysis and market research, and adjusting sales goals and objectives as needed to meet client demands and interests.


During his personal time outside of work, Aaron enjoys spending time with his family, being a foodie, fishing and drawing. His personality and winning attitude are key assets that complement and enhance Sparrow Hospitality’s ability to serve clients across the industry, delivering high quality, innovative sales solutions.

Chelsea Anderson

Regional Director of Sales

Chelsea is a goal-driven hospitality professional with over six years of experience in hotel sales. Born and raised in the south, she can’t help but be hospitable, taking great care of clients comes naturally.


Chelsea’s honest and straightforward personality, combined with her desire to help crush revenue goals, has proved to be a winning combination. Her ability to foster and maintain mutually beneficial relationships between hotels and their guests makes her an invaluable asset to our team.


Chelsea has worked with multiple management companies representing several different hotel brands: Hilton, Marriott, Choice, and IHG. She’s undergone multi-brand sales training and credits incredible mentors with molding her into the Sales professional she is today.
